Across Florida · Vetted local pros
Roof leaking? An MB roofing pro can find out why.
Leaks, storm damage and full replacements in shingle, tile, metal and flat roofs — by a vetted MB roofing pro near you.

What your MB pro can help with
In Florida a roof takes hurricane wind, wind-driven rain and year-round sun. A leak often shows up far from where the water got in, because it travels along the underlayment first. Our network of vetted local roofing pros covers repairs and replacements across Florida.
- Leak diagnosis and repair.
- Storm and wind damage repair, with photos for your insurer.
- Full replacement in shingle, tile, metal and flat roofs.
- Flashing at walls, valleys, chimneys and skylights.
- Rotten decking replaced.
- Flat-roof ponding and drainage problems.
Roofing permits and licenses in Florida
Roofing work in Florida generally requires a permit and a contractor whose state license covers roofing. In Miami-Dade and Broward — the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone — roofing products need a Miami-Dade NOA; elsewhere they need Florida Product Approval.
Before work starts, ask the pro for their license number and check it on the Florida DBPR website. An open or unclosed roof permit can surface when you sell or refinance.

Roofing questions, answered
- Repair or replace?
- It depends on the roof's age, the damage and the roof covering. Florida's building code also limits how much of an older roof can be repaired before more of it must be replaced, so ask the pro whether that applies to yours.
- Can the roofer help with my insurance claim?
- A roofer can document storm damage with photos and a written scope for your insurer. The claim itself is between you and your insurance company.
- My roof is leaking right now. What should I do?
- Move belongings away, catch the water, and say on the form that it's leaking now. Don't go up on the roof in wet weather.
