Terms of Service

1. What we are — and are not

MB Home Improvements ("we", "us") operates a home-services network for homeowners in Florida. We take your request, match you with an independent, locally owned service provider ("pro") in our network, and help book the visit. Services are performed by those pros, each responsible for any license their trade requires. We are not a contractor and we do not perform, supervise or control any work. Each pro is an independent business, not our employee, agent or partner. We are not a party to any agreement, estimate or transaction between you and a pro. Any contract for work is solely between you and the pro.

2. The pro is responsible for the work

The pro who performs your job is solely responsible for that work, including its quality, safety, timeliness, price, permits, materials, any warranty, and for holding any license or insurance the work requires. Any estimate, price, invoice or warranty is made by, and enforceable against, that pro.

3. Check credentials yourself

Describing a pro as "vetted" refers to our own screening before we pass along a request. It is not an endorsement, warranty or guarantee of any pro's credentials, availability or performance. Before work begins, verify anything that matters to you — for example, a contractor's license on the Florida DBPR website.

4. Calls about your request

When you send our form and tick the consent box, you agree that MB Home Improvements may call you at the number you gave about your request, and that your pro may call you about it from their own phone. We do not send text messages. To stop calls from us, tell us on the call or email privacy@tradestreammarketing.com.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

THIS WEBSITE AND OUR SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR WORKMANLIKE PERFORMANCE OF ANY WORK PERFORMED BY A PRO.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MB HOME IMPROVEMENTS AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY WORK PERFORMED OR NOT PERFORMED BY A PRO, ANY DISPUTE BETWEEN YOU AND A PRO, OR YOUR USE OF THIS WEBSITE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

7. Disputes with a pro

Because we are not a party to the work, any dispute about it is between you and the pro, and you agree to resolve it directly with them.

8. Emergencies

This is not an emergency service. If you smell gas, see fire or smoke, suspect carbon monoxide, or anyone is hurt, leave the area and call 911 first. Information on this website is general and is not professional advice for your situation.

9. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. We may update them by posting a revised version here with a new date; using the site after that date means you accept the update. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
